College – going, not going – is a big topic around here right now, and I know it’s a constant topic for many folks with older homeschooled kids. But what about PAYING for college? My friend Meagan Francis takes that issue up in her essay on Babble today.

I’ve got one (21 tomorrow!) entering her 3rd year in college in NYC. #2 (18 in December) will be traveling with unschoolers to Australia Dec. 31-Feb 13. She isn’t interested in college right now. We have always been here to cheer our kids on, whatever their choices. But we will NOT go in debt to fund their dreams.
