We are long-time MEN readers. The olders issues are worth thier weight in GOLD. In this house, we're looking into solar and wind power while we renovate. ;)

Robin - they now make very flat solar panels for roofs.

I would love to see solar energy used more. In fact, my next house will have something solar. Don't you think there must be some way to make roofing material that absorbs solar energy, then stores it for use later. How hard could that be? I'm not thinking of those big old gawky solar panels.... something flexible, and more roof-like.
Whatever.... I agree that more needs to be done. It is nice knowing that the sun is an infinite energy source. We just need to harness it.
