Apparently I only maintain my G-rating on this blog because I have not yet mentioned the word ‘gay’. Asinine indeed. I know it’s supposed to be fun, but who wrote the parameters for this thing? I’d love to see just which words trigger the NC17 rating. I wonder how the blogs that wrote about this year’s Newberry winner, Higher Power of Lucky, and scrotumgate fared? Because, you know. The word ’scrotum’ is so inappropriate.

well, you know have the word “gay” once and “dead” thrice.
My site is a G without comments. Good thing they can’t hear my thoughts……. ![]()

Ha, ha! I entered my blog and got a PG rating. You know why? I used the word “suck” five times. That’s funny because I was using the word to describe the vacuum effect in an experiment. Pretty petty, if you ask me.

Just checked mine and got a pg rating. Death (x3), ‘dick’(x2), and ‘hurt’ (x1). Death is quoted from a song, and I’ve never used any anatomy phrases, but hurt…no one is allowed to feel? Come on!

Someone was trying to be PC in front of my kids the other day and used the word “siphon” to replace “suck”. Just wasn’t the same.

Ah, Robin helped me out and the culprit words are Dick Raymond and Dick Moore–gardening gurus. Who wrote that program? Too funny.

That’s funny. I typed in the name of a blog I like to read (not mine) and it was rated R. It cited as the reason: 26 references to “hell,” 2 references to “death,” and 1 reference to “dead.” Go figure. I can pretty well guess what sort of person created it.
