We went to a 4-H Christmas party on Saturday and the boys discovered this Jackson’s chameleon in the bushes.
And on Sunday, E spotted the remains of an eel in a crack in the rocks. We (of course) had to find a stick to pull it out for a closer view. Look at those teeth!
Robin said,OMG! My son would have been in heaven! Did you keep it, or let it go? He is stunning!

The chameleon was let loose in the garden where he was found. The eel almost came home with us (in spite of the stink) but E decided it might just be too creepy to have on a shelf in his room, and I didn’t want the thing in my room!
